You should also keep raw meat and juices away from other foods. Another tip is to keep cutting boards separate from other food prep areas and serving platters.

How to store meat

Meat should always be kept cold and placed directly in the refrigerator after purchasing. If you plan on freezing your meat, ensure that you wrap non vacuum sealed packages in heavy duty aluminum foil and label it prior to freezing . ALDI vacuum sealed packages can be placed directly in the freezer.
