What forms of payment are accepted at ALDI stores?
We accept several forms of payment including cash, most debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), SNAP, Link cards and contactless pay such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
At this time, we do not accept checks or WIC benefits. The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) federal guidelines stipulate that only name-brand formulas are included, and we only sell our exclusive premium-quality Little Journey brand, which offers the lower prices parents want.
Do you allow tax-exempt purchases?
Yes, items purchased by a tax exempt organization for an appropriate tax exempt use by your organization may be purchased tax-exempt, providing you have a valid tax-exempt certificate at the time of purchase or on file with ALDI. State law may require ALDI to collect tax on all supplies and other items used by your organization. Items purchased for resale in the normal course of your business may be purchased tax-exempt, providing you have a valid resale certificate at the time of purchase or on file with ALDI, which lists the specific items you are purchasing for resale. State law may require ALDI to collect tax on all supplies and other items used by your business.
Does ALDI accept contactless payment?
Yes. We accept multiple forms of contactless payment, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
ALDI Gift Cards
Does ALDI offer gift cards? If so, how can I purchase ALDI gift cards?
Yes. ALDI gift cards are available for purchase in $5 increments, up to $100. To buy an ALDI gift card, please stop by your local ALDI store and a store associate will be happy to help you! At this time, we do not sell gift cards online.
How can I check my ALDI gift card balance?
You can easily check your gift card balance online or stop by your local ALDI store to have a store associate assist you.
Are ALDI gift cards reloadable?
Yes. ALDI gift cards are reloadable. However, if the gift card has a $0.00 balance for over 90 days the card will be deactivated and will no longer be reloadable.
How do I arrange a large order of ALDI gift cards on behalf of an organization or business?
Large gift card orders can be arranged by submitting the below information via mail.
- Gift card order quantity, desired values and any restrictions such as alcohol
- Return shipping address and contact information
Coupons
Are ALDI coupons ever issued, and if so, how do I get one?
We take pride in making grocery shopping smart, fast and easy. ALDI shoppers do not have to clip coupons to find the best deals because we offer the lowest prices on groceries every single day.
From time to time though, we may offer regional promotions or coupons tied to an event, such as an ALDI store Grand Opening. Keep an eye on your mailbox or in stores for special promotions near you.
My coupon is expired, can I use it?
Unfortunately we do not accept coupons past the expiration date.
I found a coupon on social media for ALDI. Is it valid?
We do not offer online coupons, meaning any coupon found online or via social media is not a legitimate ALDI coupon. ALDI coupons will always be printed and distributed in stores or mailed directly to you. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Do you accept manufacturer’s coupons?
No. ALDI-exclusive brands make up more than 90% of our product selection, and we guarantee the quality is as good as or better than name brands. However, we do carry some name-brand products. For these items, we always negotiate the best possible prices with our suppliers and because of this we are unable to accept manufacturer’s coupons.
